We are Hiring Housekeeping Supervisor for ourAshely Lodge ,Tully East Kildare, Co. Kildare, R51VW22 JOB PURPOSE:To work as part of the team responsible for the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the Nursing Home and to supervise the services and processes that support the core business of the organisation.
To interact with residents and colleagues in a positive and helpful way at all times.
Training and Supervising Staff: They train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all staff members are well-prepared to meet cleanliness standards.
Scheduling and Organizing Shifts: They organize employee shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence.
Inspecting Work Areas: They check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness and order.
Handling Customer Complaints: They respond to customer complaints and special requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management: They monitor and replenish cleaning products stock, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available.
Ensuring Compliance: They ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS Required: Previous experience in a similar role.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
English language ability must be such that the staff member is competent to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues in relation to speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Good communication skills Team player Must provide Garda Vetting clearance in line with H.I.Q.A.
