Prepare transactional documentation, including contracts, transfers, rights of way, wayleaves, licenses, and deeds of rectification, while conducting thorough title due diligence.
Manage property transactions from initiation to lodging registration applications with the Property Registration Authority (PRA).
Draft first registration applications and address complex title issues.
Provide advice on a variety of property title and conveyancing matters, including boundary disputes, rights of way, turbary, and other encumbrances.
Collaborate with the Title Researcher to maintain accurate records of the property estate.
General Legal Support and Advice: Draft and offer legal advice on commercial agreements and negotiations.
Support the management of forest property acquisitions.
Deliver timely and accurate legal advice to the forestry teams.
Maintain precise records while fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
Liaise with and manage external legal advisors as necessary.
Governance, Compliance & Regulation: Advocate for best practices in legal affairs management.
Manage legal risk exposure and ensure compliance with internal governance.
About you: Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Essential experience in Property Law and Conveyancing, particularly with rural and agricultural properties.
Strong technical skills in conveyancing and drafting.
Practical and hands-on approach to managing a high volume of legal transactions.
Aptitude for reading maps and interpreting legal documents.
Excellent organizational, communication, and ICT skills, with familiarity with a legal case management system.
Experience in broader commercial matters is desirable.
