In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that live graphics are accurate, timely, and editorially impactful.
You'll collaborate with graphics operators and production teams to bring key stats and storylines to life during broadcasts.
The position is directly tied to live sports schedules, including the UEFA Champions League, Six Nations, International football, and the League of Ireland.
As such, shift patterns and working days will flex to meet the demands of live coverage, requiring a sharp editorial eye and a cool head under pressure.
Previous experience a must.
This is a specified contract which will run from September 2025 to May 2026.
The successful candidate will work approx.
64 hours per month for a 9m period.
Flexibility will be required in line with the demands of live Television.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
Oversee the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of all live sports graphics.
Work closely with the dedicated graphics operator to ensure smooth implementation of visual elements.
Continuously monitor game statistics, trends, and key insights, alerting the production team to emerging storylines.
Collaborate with producers, directors, and editorial teams to determine which graphics best enhance live coverage.
Verify all graphics for factual accuracy and editorial relevance before they go on air.
Occasionally assist in other production roles as required.
Skills & Expertise:
Strong understanding of live sports and key statistical trends.
Excellent editorial judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to quickly analyse game developments and translate them into compelling graphics.
Strong communication skills for coordinating between operators and production teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure broadcast environment.
