Our client is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Manager with a strong background in building projects to join their project team in the Greater Dublin region.
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.
This role would suit a professional with expertise in all facets of construction.
Reporting to: Project Manager / Contracts Manager Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
Foster and maintain professional relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols and quality standards.
Accurately and promptly report on project progress to your line manager.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring their work is completed to the required standard with minimal rework.
Plan, coordinate, and execute works in line with project schedules and contract documents.
Collaborate effectively with the construction management team, subcontractors, and supply chain.
Resource and schedule work in accordance with the project construction programme.
Work closely with the project Quantity Surveyor to provide timely advice on any potential issues.
Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Demonstrated and extensive building experience.
A proven track record of successfully delivering projects from start to finish.
Experience in both Shell & Core and Fit-Out projects is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and project execution.
Proficiency in common computer software, including MS Office and project scheduling tools.
Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) like Procore is desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A self-starter with sound judgment and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Strong management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a workforce.
A commercially aware individual who is knowledgeable about the market and competitors.
