Our client is based in Clondalkin, Dublin 22 and is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable person to join their team.
This is a part time role 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
Salary is €25k pa About the Role We are looking for an organised, detail-focused and proactive Accounts Payable Executive to join their friendly finance team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, thrives on accuracy and has a strong can-do attitude.
As the go-to person for managing supplier payments and related records, youll play a vital role in keeping finances in check, ensuring vendors are paid on time and accounts are always accurate.
DUTIES OF THE ROLE Invoice & Expense Processing Receive, check and process vendor invoices accurately, ensuring they meet company policies and are correctly coded to the Nominal Ledger.
Verify and process staff expenses for payroll.
Payments & Currencies Schedule and process timely payments to vendors in multiple currencies (EUR/GBP/USD).
Handle transfers between accounts and monthly payments for rates in Dublin and Cork.
Reconciliation & Reporting Reconcile supplier statements with Accounts Payable and Nominal Ledger each month.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments and bank transactions in the Cash Book.
Run month-end purchase ledger procedures and prepare Intrastat and VIES reports.
Vendor & Records Management Set up and maintain vendor accounts.
Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries and build strong working relationships.
Ensure compliance with record-keeping legislation and filing systems.
Cash Flow & Compliance Support cash flow forecasting by managing payment schedules.
Ensure all processes comply with company policies, regulations and accounting standards.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of transactions.
Excellent attention to detail accuracy is your superpower.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and accounting software.
Clear and confident communication skills (phone and email).
A problem-solving mindset with basic accounting knowledge.
A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed.
