Our client, a leading fire engineering consultancy, is seeking an On-Site Fire Inspector to join their team.
This role involves working closely with Project Managers, ensuring that fire safety regulations and standards are met across a range of projects.
You'll be responsible for inspection plans, detailed site reports, and issuing fire safety certificates, making a tangible impact on building safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out on-site fire safety inspections in accordance with industry regulations.
Develop and implement inspection plans to assess fire compliance.
Issue detailed site reports outlining findings and required actions.
Assist in the process of granting Fire Safety Certificates and Access Certificates.
Work closely with Project Managers, contractors, and site teams to ensure compliance with fire safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of construction-based experience, ideally as a Site Engineer, Site Manager, or Resident Engineer.
Strong knowledge of building regulations and fire safety standards.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, structured reports.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with project teams.
A relevant qualification in construction, engineering, or fire safety is desirable.

You will have all of your travel covered to sites throughout the Dublin region, as you will be travelling to various sites throughout the week, and expected in the office occasionally for team meetings and training.
