Job Description
Citi has dedicated Regulatory Engagement staff for certain approved geographies to support engagement with regulators and centrally coordinate regulatory engagement activities
This is a new role in the Citibank Europe plc (CEP) Regulatory Engagement team which requires a thorough understanding of regulator expectations to strengthen our ability to deliver to our regulators and internal stakeholders.

Regulatory Engagement Team is part of Citi's broader Banking & International (B&I) Regulatory Engagement Team and is responsible for the management of Citi's regulatory engagement activities for CEP.
Responsibilities
Maintain high quality regulatory engagement with the supervision teams at the CBI and ECB through close proactive interaction, fulfilling regulatory obligations, and execution of regulatory engagement activities in a consistent and coordinated manner
Serve as a CEP central contact point for the CBI and ECB and Citi personnel engaging with them
Provide support to Citi personnel with execution of regulatory engagement activities through guidance, driving consistent well-coordinated delivery, and execution of controls and processes
Lead preparation measures for regulatory meetings, including engaging with regulators to establish meeting agendas, production of briefing materials, talking points and preparation sessions with internal stakeholders.
Engage in the preparation, review and delivery of high quality and timely regulatory responses, including responses related to ongoing supervision and ad hoc queries
Support execution of regulatory exams, interactions, and supervisory-related findings processes
Additional duties as assigned
Qualification / Experience / Skills
Bachelor's degree
Experience with or previous exposure to European regulators
Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organised.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
Ability to work collaboratively and operate in a global organisation
Ability influence and lead people, including at a senior level.
Experience in managing regulatory exams
Awareness of regulatory requirements and expectations
