Overview
Senior Full Stack Engineer – Location: Dublin.
This role is part of the Cash and Positions Development team in Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) Technology group.
Responsibilities
Deliver high quality, innovative and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment.
Participate in architecture and application design.
Actively contribute to test automation and practices (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing).
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Collaborate with distributed teams and work with cross-functional stakeholders.
Understand fundamental design principles for building scalable applications.
Take on responsibility for managing production applications at runtime.
Learn quickly, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
Qualifications and Skills
BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
5+ years' experience in software application design and development.
Required software skillset: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, REST Services, deployment technologies, AWS, BDD, Cucumber and GitHub.
Experience in DB development with Oracle.
Experience writing effective SQL stored procedures, optimizing existing structures and fine-tuning SQL code.
Proficiency in UI development is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and driving automation.
Experience developing automated unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
Skills You Bring
Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts with internal customers and team members.
Ability to work on complex technical and functional analysis tasks.
Aptitude to learn and adopt new cloud technologies.
