The Sheraton Athlone Hotel is recruiting for part time Switchboard Operator.Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the successful candidate will have an outgoing and friendly personality and have the ability to engage with people and build strong working relationships.Responsibilities will include:As the first point of contact for our guests calling the hotel - provide a warm welcome and efficient greeting.Answer all calls in a timely and friendly mannerTransfer all calls as appropriateProvide our guests with details of hotel and local amenities and attractionsWork as part of, and support, the Reception TeamFollow the day-to-day procedures of guestDealing with and resolving guest queriesExcellent organisational skillsSkills & ExperiencePrevious switchboard/reception experience (desirable)Applicants must be proficient in MS Office SuiteFluent level of both written and spoken English is essential.Please note that the position includes shift and weekend work.Excellent telephone mannerBenefitsMeals when on dutyFree ParkingHotel discounts - discounted rates within Marriott Hotels worldwide and Hodson Bay GoupMotivational Benefits - Associate of the Month etcSports & Social Club
