Staff Grade Occupational Therapist Part-time, Permanent | 28 hours per week | Mon - Fri Bon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2,500 staff including 350 leading consultants.
We treat more than 200,000 patients annually.
The Occupational Therapy Department at Bon Secours Hospital Cork is now inviting applications for the above post from a suitably qualified candidate.
The Occupational Therapy department provides a service to the following clinical specialties including: Acute Medical Care Older Persons General surgery Neurology Oncology and Palliative Care Hand Therapy Rheumatology Essential requirements: BSc (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent recognised and validated qualification in Occupational Therapy CORU registered Desirable requirements: Post graduate experience in acute hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Interdisciplinary team working Proven clinical and organisational skills Commitment to continuous professional development Membership of Association of Occupational Therapists Ireland or equivalent occupational therapy professional body The post holder will be required to work in any of the designated clinical specialities as directed by the Head of Department.
