As Principal Digital Design Architect at Infineon, you will drive innovation in microcontroller communication IPs. Your role involves breaking down requirements, evaluating third-party solutions, creatingtechnical documentation, and collaborating cross-functionally to promote a cutting-edge development strategy.
In your new role you will:
Driveconcept developmentandinnovationin the area ofmicrocontroller communication IPsbased on a profound understanding of microcontroller architectures and applications
Considerfunctional safety(ISO 26262),cyber security(ISO as well as production related aspects
Break down stakeholder andproduct requirementsto hardware and software requirements and define implementable solutions fulfilling those requirements
Observe and analyzethird partyIP provider solutions,and match existing offers with our requirements. Describe and explain gaps to find optimal solutions for all requirements
Own and create the neededtechnical documentations(like user manuals or data sheets) in line with our internal document creation process. You will also ensure to provide material to allow your safety architect colleagues to deliver the various work products to guarantee theISO26262compliance
Network cross-functionallywith cluster architects, system engineers, application engineers, functional safety experts, design, verification and validation teams within and beyond your business unit to promote your state-of-the-art development strategy
Performtechnical risk managementfor microcontroller architecture and design across IP, subsystem and SoC hierarchies based on key knowledge of technical challenges and development constraints
You are an integral part of a dynamic, cross-functional team, bringing with you the ability to communicate effectively and proactively across diverse teams. Your collaborative spirit and adaptability enable you to thrive in a fast-paced environment, fostering innovation through your exceptional problem-solving skills and extensive technical expertise.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
A Degree inElectrical Engineering,Physicsor a related technical field
At least6 yearsof relevant working experience inchip architecture, designor related
Microcontrollerknowledge and automotive/networking application know-how
Deep knowledge in one or more communication protocols such asEthernet,PCIe,CAN,SPI,SENT, on physical and data link layer.
Deep knowledge in one or more memory interface standards such asLPDDR, XSPI, UFS
Experience working on SOC architectures based around theAMBAbus protocols
Experience inwritingUser Manualsanddefine Data sheet values
Basic knowledge aboutfunctional safetyandcybersecuritystandards
Working experience in international and cross-functional technical teams within a multicultural environment
FluentEnglishlanguage skills
