Area Service Managers/Care Coordinators NWCare is a family run domiciliary care agency serving the community in healthcare in Northern Ireland for well over 50 years.
We are expanding our Rathfriland branch and are recruiting for an Area Service Manager/Care Coordinator .
Some of the duties include: To organise and supervise the delivery of home care support services to Service Users in their own homes To work in a flexible and reliable manner in response to the needs of the service To manage a team of Community Care Workers To reinforce and ensure compliance within the Domiciliary Care Agencies Minimum Standards To ensure that a quality care service is delivered to all Service Users To work within GDPR legislation The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Good general education to include good numeracy and literacy skills Minimum of QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care At least 12 months experience in a care setting Experience of coordinating rotas Experience of managing staff NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) registration completed at training, if not already registered Excellent communication skills, written and oral Ability to respond to sudden changes in service delivery requirements High standard of accuracy Ability to problem solve and exercise judgement A working knowledge of MS Office, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
