As the United Kingdom Delivery Team enters its 4th year of working alongside the Peruvian Government in the delivery of over $5Bn of social and flood infrastructure, we are expanding. We are searching for aSenior Manager to support our Construction Operations team through this next exciting period of growth.

In the next year, we will be supporting our client deliver a 5-fold increase in the volume of works compared to the previous year, with construction starting on 7 city drainage schemes, 17 river defence projects and unique reforestation and early warning systems projects.

You will work as part of the Senior Construction Delivery Team, taking direction from Construction Lead and Project senior leadership team, providing guidance to wider team.

You will build relationships to manage and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.

You will build a strong working relationship with your clients, and support the construction lead in turning the client’s vision into a deliverable onsite plan.

You will work to ensure that budgets and other operations are fiscally and ethically viable, and meet organisational and legislative compliance obligations.

You will support the Senior Construction Delivery Team in influencing thelong term development of strategy for a function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.

You will support Managers and other junior members of your project team and provide an environment to share knowledge and experience. 

You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace Group, the Centres of Excellence, Mace Way Control Centre and Knowledge Hub.

You will provide technical expertise and support to Delivery Teams, creating a culture of ownership, promoting roles and responsibilities.

You’ll need to have:

You’ll also have

Membership of MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS / MICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. 

Experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the xxx sector.

Construction management expertise. 

Developing commercial and financial acumen. 

Experience leading parts of construction projectswithin large, diverse teams. 

Experience of building relationships with key stakeholders. 

Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on
