Job Overview

Iron Mountain's ALM (Asset Lifecycle Management) business in Damastown Industrial Park, Dublin, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Driver / Technician. This dual-role position involves travelling to client sites to collect hardware, utilising a ticketing system to manage orders and requests, and ensuring top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical aptitude, excellent driving skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Collection and Delivery: Travel to client sites across Dublin and surrounding areas to collect and deliver hardware. Ensure the safe and secure transportation of equipment, adhering to company protocols and standards.

Ticketing System Management: Use the company’s ticketing system to receive, process, and complete orders and service requests. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions in the system.

Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during site visits, providing friendly and efficient service. Address client enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation and handling of hardware. Ensure all collected and delivered equipment is logged correctly and securely.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience and Education: Proven experience in a similar driver/technician role, preferably within the technology or logistics sector. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Technical certification or equivalent experience in hardware support is a plus.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using ticketing systems and related software. Basic knowledge of computer hardware

Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle customer queries and issues with patience and professionalism.

Organisational Skills: Excellent time management and organisational skills. Attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area.
