Assets & Facilities Manager - Full-Time (1.00 WTE) - Permanent - Dublin, Kildare & Wicklow with a hybrid working model The role of the Assets & Facilities Manager will be to ensure operational excellence in the delivery of the maintenance programmes for the organisations' assets which include housing, other residential stock, non-residential service buildings, offices and vehicles. As a member of the Resources Team, the Assets & Facilities Manager will assist the Director of Resources to ensure all asset management services are delivered to a high standard across all our homes and services, as well as ensuring high quality and efficient maintenance services to the people we support. The Assets & Facilities Manager will work collaboratively with colleagues to bring a whole organisation perspective to managing our assets, sharing their knowledge, experience and expertise across the organisation. The Assets & Facilities Manager will demonstrate strong leadership in the delivery of the asset management services to ensure Gheel Autism Services continues to provide sustainable quality supports in every aspect of the service. Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Essential Qualifications for this post: QQI Level 8 in Building Surveying, Facilities Management and/or equivalent in a technical qualification relevant to the role Driving License and use of own car Desirable: A qualification in Project Management Essential Experience for this post: Minimum 3 years of experience in a role with responsibility for building/construction and/or responsibility for maintenance programmes, vendor management and asset management. Desirable: Experience in the Non-profit and/or Disability Services Sector is an advantage Experience of working in the social housing sector is an advantage Professional Knowledge Essential: Demonstrate knowledge of: National standards for approved housing bodies Housing (Standards for Rented Houses) Regulations 2019 Fire Services Acts (1981 and 2003) Obligation set out under Health & Safety Authority and relevant Local Authority Building Control Departments A high standard working knowledge of Microsoft office 365 applications and systems such as Sharepoint. Desirable: Experience of working in the disability sector is an advantage Knowledge of the HIQA National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities. Knowledge of organisation of health services and trends nationally and internationally Show evidence of current legislative policies pertinent to support of vulnerable adults Ability to source both theoretical and technical information Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid in line with the Gheel Autism Services CLG Clerical Officer Grade VII pay scale point 1: €54,123 - point 9: €66,078 (LSI 1; €68,521 per annum and LSI2; €70,971 per annum) based on working a 39-hour week.
