This position reports to the Ecommerce Manager. We are a small business with huge ambition, and as such the successful candidate will be expected to be hands-on and work closely with the rest of the O'Briens team and the wider business to ensure a fully integrated approach.

 

Position Purpose

This is a newly created role in the Ecommerce team to help realise the business's next phase of growth. This role will primarily focus on the consumers online journey, keeping the website and the O'Briens Wine App up-to-date in line with the current promotions and campaigns.

 

You will be working with online systems to merchandise landing pages, and creating rule sets around products, and will be responsible for all site landing pages, app links and assets being correct. On the job training will be provided.

 

 

Responsibilities

      Merchandising the website and App

      SEO management - you will have experience working with agencies and using tools such as SEMRush and/or Moz

      Be responsible for ensuring the channel is optimised for our customers in all phases of the purchase journey displaying accurate and relevant product info and visual content to create a market leading customer UX and UI

      Track, review and analyse ROI on all brand activations, recommending future data-led optimisations and learnings.

      Proven ability to deliver impactful execution and messaging across all touchpoints that drive purchase behaviour

      Managing media and brand partners and relationships inc setup, tracking and reporting

      Continuous improvement of customer experience online

      Reporting using GA and Shopify analytics

 

These are the main requirements of the role and is not an exhaustive list of duties. It is intended to reflect the nature, range, and context of the work, which will change over time. The initial 6-months will primarily focus on the digital systems and training around that, and the role will expand as you get more comfortable with updates.

      Good understanding of omni-channel management

Experience

 

      Retail experience, ideally within FMCG businesses

      Educated to degree level or similar

      Have an analytical mind and the ability to influence through using data analytics i.e Google Analytics

      Commercial awareness & being results orientated is an important part of this role

      Experienced in product catalogues and content management systems would be ideal, however, experience with merchandising in a retail environment is essential

      Open to change in a fast-moving industry
