Dublin, Ireland Tate Full time

Tate is a world-class global data centre interior design engineering and manufacturing business, operating as part of the Kingspan Group PLC which is valued at over $9bn. We are currently looking for a Head of Product Training to join our growing team.

We continue to invest heavily in the best available manufacturing tools and equipment needed to adhere to Tate's world-class standards and our business remains committed to developing lower carbon, sustainable solutions. In keeping with our 10-year Planet Passionate sustainability strategy, our focus is on having minimal climate impact. We are excited by potentially welcoming you as part of our team as we continue to grow on a worldwide scale.

About the Role:

At Tate, the need to support our key stakeholders with the right level of product and installation information is key to retaining and growing our future business and an exciting new role has opened up to spearhead this new function within our Global Marketing team. We are looking for an experienced leader to develop and execute our product knowledge strategy, initially in Europe before rolling out globally so we can best deliver key training courses and support materials on our Tate solutions.

Initially focussing on our ceilings solutions, the role will evolve to include the full suite of products across our range and regions. Your experience as an engaging product trainer who can simplify complexity into key learnings will be pivotal in offering real value to our stakeholders as well as understanding the practical approach necessary to develop the required content. Strong communication skills are a key requirement of this role as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that demands managing multiple priorities and a focus on executing deliverables.

Product knowledge training is a key value add for our customers and the Product Knowledge Training team will play an important role in maintaining our brand as a global industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish a new product knowledge training team that will deliver and ensure comprehensive product knowledge across all markets and product sets.
  • Lead the development of product training programmes, materials, manuals, documents and assessments that are following our marketing compliance policies, local market language requirements and Tate brand guidelines.
  • Deliver engaging, effective and high-quality training programmes for both new and existing customers as well as internal stakeholders that utilise a variety of training delivery methods to ensure that Tate's product knowledge is thoroughly transferred to each training participant either onsite with the customer, hosting customers within Tate or online.
  • Build a high-performing team of subject matter experts on product features, benefits and value propositions, providing leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering, commercial, manufacturing, sustainability, customer service etc) to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of product training materials and programs and to ensure timely and accurate resolution of product-related inquiries and issues.
  • Identify, implement and maintain an effective document management process to ensure that internal and external training materials are catalogued and readily available.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience through value-added product knowledge strategies and initiatives and by supporting the roll out of our new customer experience centre in all regions globally.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of relevant activities (e.g. customer satisfaction scores, sales performance, employee knowledge assessments, etc) and provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on performance, milestones and potential risks.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 8 years) in product management, product marketing or a related leadership role with a strong emphasis on product training and education ideally within the data centre, construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Relevant certifications in training, instructional design or leadership are an added advantage.
  • A track record of staying updated on industry trends and incorporating best practice into training programmes.
  • Experience of working in a global context with an understanding of and sensitivity to diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful product training initiatives with measurable positive impacts on organisational success and employee performance.
  • Ability to travel regionally in Europe and globally as required.
