Position Summary:

This is a summer internship position where the intern will get the opportunity to be directly involved in an ABEC Continuous Improvement project. ABEC’s internship program is a project-based and the focus of this internship will be in the assisting of the Chemical Assessment for Mobile Passivation project. 

Requirements

  Responsibilities:

Ø Comparison between internal passivation process using two chemicals for cleaning and passivation as compared to the mobile passivation process using Citrisurf0

Ø Testing of Citrisurf0 on the current test spools and data gathering

Ø Defining the market scope on passivation as service Vs passivation and EP

Ø Complete detailed documentation and reports as it relates to the project

Ø Participate in frequent meetings as it relates to the progress of the project

Ø Establish recommendations and present project findings to ABEC’s senior leadership team

Qualifications:

· Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field 

· Project management and/or research related experience preferred.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
