Requirements
Role Requirements & Responsibilities
People Management
- Delegate further responsibilities to the team leaders and drive excellent quality standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture aligned with internal & customer standards, e.g., using PPE and regular training.
- Lead by example while promoting a positive 'can-do' approach.
- Provide mentorship & coaching to empower the team Leads to make decisions.
- Celebrate wins and implement a recognition mechanism quarterly.
- Manage the Dublin’s Team's structure, including roles and responsibilities, to provide opportunities for personal development and coaching and mentoring.
- Develop a culture of accountability and customer awareness.
- Monitor resource levels and training requirements.
- Engagement in the recruitment process, onboarding process and new hire performance reviews.
- Regular documented face-to-face meetings with Team Leaders and their direct reports.
Operations
- Reviewing daily plans and implementing improvements for efficiency
- Proactively supporting team Leads to optimise team working schedules and closely monitor overtime.
- Engage with Senior Tech. Services Manager and direct reports to develop the process of continuous improvement in all activities.
- Manage ATC's Technical Services operations with a focus on safety, customer service, effective communications, and efficiency.
- Implement the operations organisation structure for the Dublin team.
- Continuously examine and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Tech. Services SOP management, change management and SOP contributor.
- Supporting the development of new regions and services for the Technical Services department.
- Support Sr. Manager in investigations and implement corrective actions as required (CoEs) & (RCCAs).
- Full ownership in the region, working to improve engagement and collaboration between all International Tech. Services teams
- Continuously improving SOPs and checklists.
Customer Relations
- Seek information and intelligence from contacts and through back channels. Share and report on customer information to Senior Management and Leadership.
- Demonstrating customer passion when acting as a company ambassador while dealing with customers.
- Responsible for Customer Service performance and improvement implementation.
- Proactively work with clients to respond to changing requirements and ensure schedules and requirements are met and accurately reported
- Proactively build relationships with customer POCs
Reporting
- Take ownership of quality audits and reporting.
- Full ownership of Dublin Team KPI outcomes and sharing of quality and performance metrics with the team to implement corrective actions.
- Quarterly Team performance reviews based on objective data.
- Monthly and quarterly narratives report of service and people performance.
- Report on process improvements, including the status of team proposals.
Candidate Requirements
Ability to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. Capable of working under pressure at times and to strict deadlines. Ability to complete tasks. Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities. The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate the following:
- Ability to lead and manage a larger group with a proven history
- A minimum of 10 years of logistics management experience in the logistics industry
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work at all levels, inside and outside operations.
- Very strong communication skills to deal regularly with staff at all levels of the organisation and in all functions, in particular when working closely with non-operations staff
- Proven capability to implement operational improvements to enhance service and productivity
- Proven ability to organise self and others to achieve objectives
- Experience in supporting and developing staff/teams to deliver superior results and a team development mentality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills; with experience and knowledge of ERP software, Excel, Word, and to a lesser extent, PowerPoint
- Valid Driving license (required)
- The following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage.
- Experience with MS SharePoint in a corporate environment
- An A2 (or greater) level in a European language where ATC operates
