This position includes a comprehensive induction training program to help the successful candidate develop and fulfil their potential. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for the role:

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Input orders into the internal computer system; check pricing and stock availability
  • Manage out-of-stock items and customer expectations
  • Generate and manage quotations, sales orders, invoices, and credit notes
  • Handle credit control and reminders for overdue payments
  • Promote existing and new products through inbound telephone sales to existing customers
  • Provide customer service, managing technical inquiries, and coordinating with fitters and the technical department to resolve queries promptly
  • Manage export sales administration and export customer accounts
  • Liaise with couriers to quote and organise transport/shipment
  • Conduct desk market research, data collection, and competitor analysis
  • Translate marketing materials such as brochures, price lists, and point-of-sale materials
  • Prepare sales reports and analysis
  • Create sales presentation documents
  • Attend industry trade shows and marketing events as needed
  • Manage weekly stock export dispatches
  • Organise travel as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Full fluency in both written and conversational Italian and English (proficiency in French is an advantage but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience in a similar role dealing with exports and logistics is advantageous
  • Experience in marketing activities such as translations and presentation skills
  • High organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good computer skills with working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Willingness to travel to and work at trade shows the company participates in
  • A team player attitude
