What will you be doing as a Programme Manager?


As a Programme Manager at Openmind Networks, you will lead our portfolio of customer projects, ensuring successful delivery while managing and developing a team of project managers. You will be instrumental in driving company growth by achieving financial targets, building strong client relationships, and ensuring project success across the board.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of a global portfolio of technology projects, ensuring that all initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our clients, managing expectations and building strong, lasting relationships. Your exceptional client-facing skills will be critical in securing project satisfaction and client retention.

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment that drives successful project outcomes.

  • Oversee the financial performance of all projects, ensuring robust financial planning, forecasting, and budget management. Your role is crucial in maintaining financial discipline while achieving revenue and invoicing targets.

  • Engage with customers continuously, gather feedback, and ensure their needs are met at every stage of the project. Your focus on customer satisfaction will contribute to the long-term success of both the projects and the client relationship.

  • Analyse project outcomes and implement lessons learned to improve processes. Support pre-contract sales activities and contribute to reducing Lead to Cash timelines.


Your profile

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years as a customer-facing Programme Manager in the Telecoms/IT sectors, with at least 3 years in a management role. Proven experience in leading and developing teams while delivering large-scale, complex projects within budget.

  • PMI or PRINCE2 certified, with extensive experience in managing customer relationships in IT/DevOps or Telecommunications.

  • Strong background in financial planning, budget management, and forecasting. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within financial constraints.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.

  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written), capable of engaging with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

  • A proactive and driven individual with a passion for customer success and continuous improvement. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
