What you’ll achieve

As a System Engineer you will be part of our highly successful development team, utilising your skills in the development, enhancement and testing of our market leading software applications for the hospital and healthcare environment.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

Support and maintain existing Swiftqueue installations all over the world. Collaborate with internal teams, customers and other Dedalus Global teams to address and implement change requests, diagnose and resolve issues. Monitor application performance, respond to alerts, implement monitoring and alerting strategies. Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot application issues, focusing on prompt initial resolution but also following up on implementing long-term solutions. Coordinate and manage roll out of application changes, updates, enhancements, and modifications.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in application support, incident management, and change management, ideally with a SaaS product. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred, however not required. Excellent skills in managing and configuring Linux environments, preferably RHEL or similar. Database administration experience, preferably MySQL. Experience working with cloud hosted environments. (AWS) Proficiency in source code management, specifically git. Knowledge of networking protocols/technologies – HTTP(s)/TCP/DNS/Load Balancing/VPN.

Desirable Requirements

General automation and programming/scripting skills – PHP/Python/Bash. Familiarity with infrastructure as a code. Exposure to working with CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of basic networking concepts – network routing, firewalls etc. Exposure to ISO27001
