CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.


We are looking for a Principal SAP Supply Chain Planning Engineering Manager for the Plan engineering team to join our organization to develop Supply Chain platform solutions that power Cloud and Devices supply chains for Microsoft. We are building solutions that transform our supply chains and gives Microsoft the ability to succeed in an ever-changing business environment.

The team plays a critical role in enabling our business to scale through a digital and effective supply chain strategy leveraging the industry leading solutions. You will partner with business operations, product management, architects, engineers, and teams across the organization to lead the supply chain planning solution development and innovate in the areas of customer experience, sustainability, generative artificial intelligence (AI), automation of our processes and systems, data driven solutions, while continuously improving operational excellence (security, resiliency, scalability, costs).

Successful candidates will have passion for people, engineering, and experience with SAP supply chain planning solutions. They should be able to combine their people and engineering skills with enthusiasm, ingenuity, results-orientation, and ability in working with the rest of the team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Physics, or a related field Progressive experience in software development post-Bachelor's degree, with a focus on formulating and analyzing software requirements. Skilled in Supply Chain Planning and adept at designing Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes utilizing SAP IBP, including Sales & Operations Planning, Response & Supply, Demand Planning (DP), Inventory Optimization, and Integration. Proficient in Solution & Enterprise Architecture and experienced in coordinating the program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design to product release. ]Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Performance Optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with SAP HANA solutions, including S/4 HANA a plus. Software engineering experience in Microsoft technologies viz., Azure Services Understanding of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms Experience using structured design and modeling techniques. Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, E2E Test Automation, Telemetry Familiarity with automation tools – Worksoft Certify, Power Apps Platform, Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities

Lead & manage high performing team of SAP functional software engineers Provide coaching and leadership to team, including development of goals, objectives, and performance success criteria Manage High and low performers Aligns team’s commitments with organizational strategic directions Extenive demand and forescat planning  Extensive experiance with operations planning Lead engineering of solution design of our integrated business planning processes (specifically SAP IBP S&OP, SAP IBP Demand Planning, SAP IBP Inventory, SAP IBP Response and Supply, Integration) ensuring they are always positioned to drive high-quality, reliable, systems enablement. Champion modern engineering practices (Agile, Live Site, Telemetry, backlog grooming, etc.) and help evolve customer experience and value Execute flawlessly – Big Bet project releases, Product Launches and other moments of truth Drive service improvements through focus on automation and technical debt reduction. Partner with peers on system performance, capacity management and scalability to ensure sustained service stability, SLAs and Business KPIs Own SOX and Security Compliance for all relevant services Partner with Solution Owners, Business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture, SWE, SE in analyzing requirements, analyzing impacts, proposing designs, fleshing these out to detailed designs, and finally driving the designs to completion through feature Team. Engage with business process units and work closely with upstream and downstream application owners to effectively build a ‘trusted advisor’ relationship with these teams through consistent on-time, on-budget delivery Build cross-team coordination and a community with other engineers relating to challenges & opportunities in the areas of integration, quality, reliability, engineering efficiency, and customer experience. Drive initiatives across team and organizational boundaries to rive clarity and alignment. Research and stay updated with the latest industry best practices, SAP best practices, SAP product capabilities, and experiment with cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation. Help solve large business problems at scale with technology. You will be responsible for end-to-end deliverables with a high degree of visibility.
