Role Purpose

The IT Project Manager will add value to HRI/IHRB in managing a portfolio of new and ongoing IT strategic initiatives. The key responsibilities and competencies required for the role of the IT Project Manager will be:


  • Manage Project Planning & Scope Definition
  • Manage IT Resources Effectively
  • Proactively Identify & Mitigate Project Risks
  • Monitor Project Expenses & Control Budget
  • Manage Project Schedule & Track Progress
  • Implement Quality Assurance & Control Measures
  • Maintain Communication with Project Stakeholders
  • Manage & Escalate Project Issues
  • Prepare Project Reports & Documentation
  • Lead Project Closure & Conduct Evaluations


Skills and Experience:


  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Experience in IT project management in a senior-level role.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.


Project Management Skills:


  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience in project planning, scope management, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Adept at scheduling, tracking progress, and identifying and resolving project issues.


Financial Management:

  • Solid understanding of project budgeting and cost control principles.
  • Ability to monitor project expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.


Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to clearly articulate project plans, progress reports, and potential roadblocks.


Technical Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations (a plus).


Additional Desirable Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
