Role Purpose
The IT Project Manager will add value to HRI/IHRB in managing a portfolio of new and ongoing IT strategic initiatives. The key responsibilities and competencies required for the role of the IT Project Manager will be:
- Manage Project Planning & Scope Definition
- Manage IT Resources Effectively
- Proactively Identify & Mitigate Project Risks
- Monitor Project Expenses & Control Budget
- Manage Project Schedule & Track Progress
- Implement Quality Assurance & Control Measures
- Maintain Communication with Project Stakeholders
- Manage & Escalate Project Issues
- Prepare Project Reports & Documentation
- Lead Project Closure & Conduct Evaluations
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
- Experience in IT project management in a senior-level role.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Project Management Skills:
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in project planning, scope management, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Adept at scheduling, tracking progress, and identifying and resolving project issues.
Financial Management:
- Solid understanding of project budgeting and cost control principles.
- Ability to monitor project expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to clearly articulate project plans, progress reports, and potential roadblocks.
Technical Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations (a plus).
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
