The role
The Business Process Analyst - Process Management & Systems Integration will partner with multiple IT and business teams to define and document functional requirements necessary for IT systems development, ensuring alignment with business needs and goals. You will play a key role in evaluating and solving complex business problems, particularly in the context of how various systems interact and integrate. You will be the go-to person for optimizing processes and workflows, ensuring seamless integration of IT tools.
Your day -to- day
- Process Management & Systems Integration: Analyze, document, and optimize business processes, focusing on how different systems work together, ensuring cohesive workflows between CRM systems like SugarCRM, Salesforce, and service platforms like Zendesk, Freshdesk, or ServiceNow.
- Gather & Document Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements, translating them into system specifications.
- Development Support: Participate in the development of test cases, conduct/document test results, and maintain existing systems, supporting team members in software development activities, including coding for business logic and user interfaces.
- ITIL Implementation: Apply ITIL methodologies to improve service management processes and ensure IT systems are aligned with industry standards.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of system and software quality assurance by continually analyzing existing applications and identifying areas for improvement.
- System Integration: Oversee the integration of various IT systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
- Project Coordination: Support the implementation of projects by coordinating with the development team, testing business requirements, and tracking progress through implementation.
- Support Activities: Take ownership of support activities related to system functionality, enhancements, system/integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
What you bring to the team
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline (Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science) with 2-3 years of business analysis experience.
- Process Management Expertise: Strong experience in process management, with a focus on system integration and optimization.
- CRM & Service Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with CRM systems like SugarCRM or Salesforce, and service platforms like Zendesk, Freshdesk, or ServiceNow.
- ITIL Knowledge: Experience with ITIL methodologies and their application in IT service management.
- Coding Experience: Basic to intermediate coding skills, preferably in scripting or development languages related to business logic and relational databases.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive attitude.
- Quality Assurance: Extensive knowledge of software quality assurance practices and methodologies.
- Business Intelligence & ERP Systems: Experience with business intelligence tools and ERP systems is a plus.
- Project Management: Proven ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Familiarity with the software development life cycle and best practices.
