is seeking applications for a Pensions Sales Lead to join our highly successful Royal London Ireland Sales team.
Royal London Ireland, as the market leader in the Broker Protections, market has expanded its offering into the Pensions space with exciting new products backed by excellent service.
These initial products have landed well, and we will be broadening our offering further later this year. We intend to replicate the success we have had in the protection area and grow quickly to become a market leader in the Irish Pensions market.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Irish subsidiary of the UK’s largest mutual life, pensions, and investment company and contribute to our delivery of outstanding customer service.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will drive the delivery and promotion of our overall pensions proposition and actively contribute to the ongoing growth of our pensions offering. The successful candidate will be a key asset opening new pensions accounts with existing relationships and helping to maximise throughput from existing accounts.
About the role
Use industry knowledge and existing connections to drive the future growth of our pensions offering. Create compelling messages and materials to support the promotion of our pensions offering and support the delivery of our ambitious Pensions sales plan. Act as a key subject matter expert in the development and promotion of our Pensions offering. Drive the importance of our unique offering and the customer benefits, to our existing broker base and expanding this base further. Coach and mentor, the Sales Team to broaden their sales expertise. Contribute to the constant improvement of our offering from the Sales Team’s perspective.About you
Previous experience in a comparable sales role with an in-depth network of connections across the industry. Degree level/QFA/CFP qualified. Experience of retail pension products, Broker distribution channels and the challenges they face in the current regulatory climate. An in-depth understanding and up to date knowledge of fund, investment, and economic matters. Strong knowledge of technical Pension issues. An ability to translate complex issues into marketable messages. Experience of helping to build communications material for Broker consultants to use with Brokers. Previous experience delivering compelling, engaging presentations. Someone with a passion to make a difference and help shape our success.About Royal London Ireland
