We are hiring a Director of Nursing to lead a care home in  North Dublin, Ireland.

     Responsibilities

  • To oversee every aspect of the program to guarantee consistently excellent resident care.
  • To serve as an on-call resource for the home, offering assistance, counsel, and direction.
  • Along with CNMs and deputy home manager(s), plan and oversee the on-call schedule.
  • To set an exemplary example and serve as a role model for staff, encouraging a person-centered approach that is the cornerstone of the philosophy and values upheld in the nursing home.
  • Participate in the hiring, choosing, orienting, managing, and overseeing of all new employees.
  • To oversee and assist all department heads, as well as the personnel in charge of nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, and catering.
  • Assist and instruct employees to guarantee that policies and procedures are followed around the clock. This will involve a few trips for night-time surveillance.
  •  To guarantee that the residents under our care receive a person-centered service, and coordinate and interact with MDT practitioners.


Requirements
  • Current Registration with the N.M.B.I.
  • In the last six years, at least three years of experience caring for elderly patients three years of managerial experience, a healthcare management post-registration degree, or an equivalent
  • Capacity for successful communication at all levels A team member with leadership skills is well-versed in the ageing process.
  • Sincere desire to collaborate with our residents Verification of approval from the Garda Vetting Unit working familiarity with the Health Act of 2007 and its related rules and regulations
