SOS Cookies is a renowned bakery known for its exquisite and delectable cookies. We are excited to set up our Pop-Up Shop at Arnotts for a second time. We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team and help spread joy through our irresistible treats.

KNOW THE ROLE

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales during the duration of the pop-up. Your friendly demeanor, sales expertise, and dedication to ensuring every customer's satisfaction will contribute to the success of our pop-up shop.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers with a warm and friendly attitude.Assist customers in selecting the perfect cookies and treats for their needs.Provide product information, answer questions, and offer suggestions to enhance customer experience.Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.Maintain the visual appeal and cleanliness of the pop-up shop.Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed.Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the shop.Demonstrate a deep understanding of SOS Cookies' products and brand.Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities.Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, accommodating peak shopping times.

KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous sales experience is essentiallManagerial experience in a retail setting is desirable.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Strong customer service orientation.Enthusiastic and positive attitude, even during high-pressure situations.Ability to work collaboratively within a team.Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.Basic computer proficiency, including point-of-sale systems.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, adapting to the shop's schedule.Must be available to start from early Feb to early AprilAn interest in baking and confectionery is a plus.
