We are hiring an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist in a Private Hospital in Cork

Responsibilities
  •  Directs and coordinates the daily patient care operations of the unit.
  • Analyses workloads and skill requirements to meet patient care needs.
  • Be aware of hospital policies about the safe administration of cytotoxic preparations.
  • Extensive experience in medical and/or surgical oncology is essential
  • He/she will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary team
  • A management course is desirable.


Requirements
  • Enrolled in the General Division of the NMBI's live nurse registry
  • A minimum of 3-5 years post-registration experience in oncology is mandatory.
  • A postgraduate in Oncology or Similar
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and clinical skills.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Flexibility and excellent use of initiative
