Project Manager EV Charging & Energy Projects

Our client is a leading investor in transport Infrastructure and energy related projects. Due to the continued expansion of their European business we have a requirement for a candidate with an Engineering background to fullfill a Project Manager role based in Dublin.

The role will involve close interaction with clients, technical, financial and commercial teams as well as the management of multi-disciplinary internal partners to bring infrastructure and transport related projects to fruition and would be ideally suited to a candidate with a technical or construction background who is seeking a move into project development. Responsibilities will include:

* Assessment of opportunities and business cases
* Procurement of technology providers and EPC contractors
* Input into the pre contract technical & commercial bid strategy
* Oversight of the procurement/supply chain approach and strategic partnerships
* Take a lead role in commercial and contract negotiation with key clients
* Oversight of delivery and project costs & timelines
* Create commercial and contractual awareness amongst the project teams

The role will involve working within a small but experienced team of investment professionals with exposure to projects in the Infrastructure, Renewables and Energy space. Full training, a comprehensive remuneration package as well as flexible working are on offer.

We require a candidate with:

* Experience of project/programme management
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Engineering background preferred but not essential
* Experience of project procurement processes/tenders
