What is the opportunity?

Working as part of a collaborative, dynamic team, the ESM Manager helps ensure effective oversight of the groupwide change portfolio so that potential scheduling risks, enterprise dependencies and conflicts can be identified using a multi-lensed approach leading to optimisation of project scheduling and resources to support the execution of key projects and achievement of the Bank's strategic objectives

In this role, you will:
  • Support the ESM team on a quarterly basis in coordination and execution of the Ability to Execute (A2E) Assessment through detailed analysis of the Change portfolio dataset and application of various lenses from a Customer, Operational, Technical and Regulatory perspective.
  • Working with the ESM Lead and other stakeholders to support identification of appropriate tooling and establishing a process and robust methodology for production of data and suite of exhibits to: pre-empt emerging contention, monitor interdependencies and support decision-making; ensuring these are produced in a timely way to enable corrective or preventative action to be taken.
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation for executive reporting on the output of the Assessment process.
What will make you stand out?

The successful candidate will have proven experience working with or for senior stakeholders / programme managers in a large, interconnected, and complex organisation. Be comfortable working with financial and programme data sets to drive insight, risks, opportunities.

You will have demonstrated ability to work with tight timelines with a pragmatic outlook and problem solving skills, have a one-team and outcome focused attitude, comfortably moving between granular and macro, across a wide variety of subjects and objectives. Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of data analysis tooling, insight collation, review, and interpretation.

Experience with any of the following will help you to stand out but is not vital in order to apply;

  • Experience working in a Portfolio Management or Strategy Office environment
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean and Waterfall delivery Methodologies, Clarity and/or Power BI
  • Industry recognised Project management Qualification, such as Prince 2 or PMP

GTCS Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO) provides services that support, govern, control, schedule, and report on our change delivery project portfolio, ensuring investments support Group strategy. We strive to provide a change delivery framework that is adaptive and supports efficient delivery, to provide quality information to collaborators, outline & implement the resourcing strategy, provide support services to delivery teams, lead out on capability development of project professionals, and to deliver a robust and consolidated approach to Change Risk Management.

This job can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration.
