About Role:
The GEC seeks a self-motivated, resourceful, creative, ambitious, and experienced individual with excellent engagement and marketing skills to develop and lead a digital strategy supporting online engagement and GEC's services and activities. The successful candidate will grow and manage the GEC's digital engagement, leverage CRM marketing tools & insights to deliver personal communications to our community, convert online engagement into sales opportunities, and optimise & grow social media accounts. You will have a thorough understanding of digital marketing and social media, including creating great digital copy across web, mobile, email, and social media platforms. You will ensure that the client's message is consistently communicated across all digital channels. You will be innovative in your approach, designing, implementing, analysing, and reporting on a digital strategy while being passionate about executing tasks in the best way possible.
Work Location:
The GEC office in the Guinness Enterprise Centre (GEC). This is a full-time onsite role with in-person delivery.
Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Professional will be responsible for:
Digital & Social:
- Manage the GEC's website, ensuring regular and engaging content refresh, functionality review, and ensuring ongoing website optimisation for SEO and UX/UI purposes
- Lead comprehensive digital engagement strategies and web development projects to increase awareness of the GEC and our services (office and event space) for an external audience, overseeing current channels and the implementation of new interaction channels that impact digital engagement KPIs, Analyse and report on digital strategy performance.
- Create and manage periodic internal client survey to ensure that the GEC is meeting and surpassing the needs and expectations of our clients
- Manage audience engagement across GEC's Social channels (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, YouTube).
- Oversee social media channels, including content creation, content calendar scheduling, and community engagement.
- Utilise email marketing/newsletter campaigns to effectively communicate with the GEC community (internal and external)
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads to promote the office space, meeting and events facilities and all other offerings:
- Monitor advertising performance, optimise campaigns for maximum ROI, and provide regular reports to the GEC Director
- Manage annual digital advertising budgets in conjunction with the GEC Director & CFO
Content Creation & Design
- Create compelling and persuasive content for digital channels, including blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, Monthly Round ups and Start up stories
- Create Graphic Designs across all GEC Brand assets and templates: screen graphics, flyers, social media posts, and other visual materials to align and ensuring consistency across all digital and print materials with GEC brand.
- Ensure all GEC events and programmes are promoted and have branded visual materials, supporting all events across the GEC clusters, University Programme etc.
- Harness the use of Photography and Videography to capture and produce content, to engage with the GEC's key audiences.
- Work closely with the GEC Director & wider team to gather stories and impact data to effectively communicate the GEC's mission and GEC Client stories
Required Skills/Experience:
- Social media savvy- creating visual, video and written content for social media platforms X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Digital Tools & Graphic design competency for editing, production, scheduling across Wix, Jira, Capcut,Imovie, Canva, Adobe Premier Pro
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
- A multi-tasker with a can- do attitude, who can work on a variety of projects, can prioritise & meet deadlines in a dynamic and busy environment
- An ambitious and creative person who is confident to own projects from start to finish while also working in a team
- Strong team payer and excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Highly competent with a multitude of software packages in particular MS Office365 (Virtual/Online platforms e.g. Zoom)
- Experience working with CRM and other marketing platforms e.g Zoho, Hubspot
- Hold a bachelor's degree or HND (Higher National Diploma) in a field such as Marketing, Digital Marketing, or relevant experience supplemented with other education/qualifications
Desirable
- A strong interest and desire to learn about new and innovative communication tools and methods
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment would be advantageous but not essential
