Early Years Educator Co. Kildare 40 hrs per week €14-€17 per hour

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Minimum Level 5/6 qualification in Early Years Education
  • No experience needed, but must be qualified
  • Experience in the day-to-day running of an Early Years setting, including curriculum planning, observations, and compliance with regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to use initiative
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Passion for working with children and providing a nurturing environment
  • 2 written references

What will your role look like?

  • Submitting observations and reports to track children's progress
  • Ensuring the premises are clean, tidy, and compliant with legislation
  • Building rapport with children and parents, fostering positive relationships
  • Engaging with parents/guardians about their child's day
  • Providing a safe and secure environment for children
  • Participating in regular staff meetings and staying updated on childcare practices and legislation through training
