SALES EXECUTIVE

My client, one of Europe’s leading innovators in Retail & Hospitality Technology, is recruiting for a Sales Executive. This is a key role within the sales team and would suit an experienced sales professional with a proven history of selling into the retail and hospitality sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for new & existing account development

· Demonstrate knowledge of the banking industry, business challenges, and solutions in the marketplace including competitive intelligence.

· Self-generate and close leads through selling the key benefits of using the clients own payment system, working to monthly / yearly revenue targets and KPI’s in order to achieve targets.

· A willingness to accept change and the ability to maintain effectiveness in a changing environment.

· Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the business market, card payment industry, competitors and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and closed appropriately.

· Interface with other internal departments as required to ensure that customer opportunities are managed quickly and effectively through the sales funnel.

REQUIREMENTS

· Significant subject matter expertise in the card processing space

· Knowledge of payments industry, solutions technology including systems, applications, and regulatory practices.

· Must have 2+ years’ experience selling to decision makers

· Proven ability to sell business technology solutions

· Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to thrive in a high-performance team
