Sales & Marketing Executive for Maternity Leave Cover.
Objective of the Role
Actively promote and sell the image and services of the hotel in addition to the Dalata Hotel Group. This will involve the maximisation of revenue and achievement of agreed sales & marketing targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To work with the Sales & Marketing Manager to identify, solicit and convert new opportunities in the all market segments in accordance with the hotels yield management objectives.
- To manage an agreed list of accounts on behalf of the hotel, and be responsible for the development of the revenue levels from these accounts. To recognise and capitalise on all opportunities from these existing businesses; to maintain them to their optimum level.
- To constantly recognise and develop new accounts from the local corporate markets.
- To participate fully in all sales activities including tele sales, sales calls, corporate entertaining, social events, promotions. A weekly target of minimum 30 tele-calls and 12 sales calls to be completed.
- To ensure the accurate processing, distribution, and recording/filing and follow up of all sales correspondence, including the execution of contracts, quotations, confirmations, cancellations etc. .
Requirements:
- To have at least 1 year's experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector.
- Reactive sales experience is a must with proactive sales experience desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
- The role will involve travel; candidates must have access to a car for work and hold a full Driver's Licence.
