My client is a respected and recognised player within the orthopaedics industry, offering class-leading products, training, and support to surgeons.

Responsibilities:

  • Your brief will be quite clinical in nature and the emphasis of the role is to gradually increase market share through clinical education.
  • This company offers a supportive culture, and it is not one whereby you are trained and expected to immediately start selling.
  • It is a far more refined and gradual approach, where your ability to clinically educate in a hospital setting is the key, rather than your ability to "close deals".
  • The company ethos centres on building market share through working closely with clinicians and educating them, rather than taking a "hard sales" approach.

The first year in this role will be far more educational in nature, providing a gradual break into a commercial setting.

My client is specifically interested in candidates with experience as an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse or candidates familiar with joint reconstruction (nursing or sales). As such, my client seeks candidates with a clinical/medical education, the ability to educate and impart information, and the ability to grow relationships with consultants and nurses through your training, knowledge, and personality.

Requirements:

  • Sales experience is beneficial for this role, but given my client's highly supportive work culture, it is not a requirement, and full sales training will be given.
  • With or without sales experience, my client would like to meet people with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong work ethic, and a real drive to succeed.
  • In the first year, the role will be more focused on working within existing business and developing clinical relationships with key contacts in hospitals who are currently working with my client's products.
