Mechanical Estimator Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team in Dublin West, Ireland.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience working as an estimator with a mechanical contractor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire tendering process from initiation to conclusion
  • Compile precise and well-organised estimates and proposals promptly
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Oversee the maintenance of the cost database
  • Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc)
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience working as an estimator with a mechanical contractor
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and at least one Estimating Platform
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards required
  • Ability to identify potential risks on a project
  • Motivated and highly dependable individual with excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
