Reporting to the Managing Director, as the Sales & Account Manager, you'll be part of a forward-thinking team focused on customer solution innovations, problem-solving, and always striving to exceed client expectations. This role offers you the opportunity to make a very real and direct impact by helping drive efficiency and productivity for customers. You will achieve this through your contributions to the design team's efforts to develop cutting-edge solutions for your client. As a result of recent imaginative solutions designed, manufactured and successfully commissioned for some of the world's leading brands our client is holding its own against established 'best in the business' global robotic solutions providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales activities from initial inquiry to contract negotiation, targeting both single machines and full line solution.
  • A strong focus on generating new business through proactive outreach and nurturing your existing pipeline, targeting multiple new clients monthly.
  • Track competitor activity, develop value-added pricing strategies, and engage stakeholders to align pricing and design concepts.
  • Collaborate closely with design, operations, and finance teams to ensure that proposals, quotations, and designs are accurately represented and commercially viable.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, advocating for its products and services.
  • Act as a liaison for clients during product testing, installation, and follow-up, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of the sales pipeline and lead tracking, ensuring regular reporting on lead generation, conversion rates, and KPIs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, BSc or B. Eng in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering is ideal.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PDM systems.
  • 5+ years in a within the packaging manufacturing industry, machine building, or robotics.
  • Automated machine build is advantageous.
  • Ability to leverage data to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Ireland and Europe to meet clients and prospects.

Remuneration:

Basic salary for this role is in the range of 70-90k PA plus bonus up to 20%, with the finer details being negotiated with the successful candidate. To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter in Word detailing your qualifications and relevant experience.
