Base pay rangeOur client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead their sales strategy and drive business growth. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will be responsible for scaling their sales function, managing high-performing teams, and identifying new market opportunities. You will also take ownership of leading and developing the internal sales team, setting KPIs, and ensuring they consistently achieve and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the internal sales team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Set clear KPIs, sales targets, and performance metrics, ensuring accountability and alignment with business objectives.
- Implement structured sales processes and best practices to optimize team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify new market opportunities, developing strategies to expand market share.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, negotiating contracts and closing high value deals.
- Utilize data-driven insights to analyze performance trends and refine sales strategies accordingly.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts, ensuring the company remains competitive.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role.
- Strong experience in managing and developing internal sales teams, with a focus on coaching and performance improvement.
- Ability to set and enforce KPIs, sales targets, and structured reporting systems.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales, account management, and business development strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset, with experience using CRM and sales analytics tools to track performance.
