Job Description:

Pre-Sales Consultant (SaaS)

I'm partnered with a local SME who are hiring for a newly created role within their sales department. They are looking for an experienced pre-sales engineer from a SaaS background to join the business and work alongside their successful technical sales team.
The successful applicant will report into the Sales Director but will also work very closely with the Dublin based Head of Engineering. So it's very important this person comes from a dual background of strong engineering knowledge and customer facing sales experience.
They're happy to consider people who come from small organisations and large corporate backgrounds, but you'll need to be comfortable with a role where your duties can be slightly different day to day. You'll be trusted to work off your own initiative and benefit from fantastic flexibility in a very open environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in solution based role a SaaS company, ideally in an Agile environment
  • Technical knowledge of AWS (AWS certs would be a big plus)
  • Knowledge of APIs and system integration
  • A lot of past experience with Tendering
  • A confident seller
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort in customer facing roles
