Business Analyst, Ring Customer Service EMEA

A Business Analyst bridges the gap between Programs, Service Delivery, Vendor, and Tech teams, using data and analytics to assess processes and deliver data-driven recommendations with the goal of improving the Customer experience. They are responsible for converting data into actionable business insights. They are analysis experts who leverage a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information. They build deep contextual and domain knowledge. They ensure data quality and build scalable tools. They communicate findings with the most effective and influential methods.

Ring EMEA CS is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with broad technical skills to develop data visualizations and build automation solutions that drive business decision making and process improvement. The ideal candidate will draw upon advanced analytical, problem solving skills, and passion for delivering business insights and analytics. We look for candidates who are excellent communicators, self-motivated, flexible, hardworking, and who like to have fun. The role supports customer experience by building analyses and reporting on key metrics.

This role will be a fully remote role within Ireland, reporting to the International Service Delivery Manager based in Ireland.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Retrieving and analyzing large sets of data using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems.
  2. Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
  3. Taking ownership of reporting processes to ensure that each report is accurate and timely with a high degree of customer focus in resolving data discrepancies.
  4. Building and managing related key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes.
  5. Monitoring existent metrics, building new metrics, and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
  6. Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
  7. Generating complex queries to dive deep on process issues.
  8. Draft concise documents communicating results to stakeholders with data visualization.
  9. Manage projects from start to finish including data gathering, synthesis, modeling, and communication of insights.
  10. Hold stakeholders accountable for project work and timelines.
  11. Influence development roadmaps to build scalability and automation into reporting and analysis.
  12. Innovating to improve customer experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages.
  • Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups).
  • Bachelor's degree in business or analytical discipline.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a BI role with a technology company or financial institution.
  • Experience working with Tableau.
  • Experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience using very large datasets.
