The Trade Desk is seeking an inspirational Senior Workplace Manager to join our dynamic Workplace Services team Our Senior Workplace Managers lead teams that are responsible for creating a "best in class" workplace experience by overseeing vendor services, driving workplace communications, establishing stakeholder relations, and identifying ongoing opportunities for improvement. This role covers a diverse range of responsibilities and is focused on owning and managing day-to-day operations for one of our office locations.

This person will be a strong Cultural Ambassador for The Trade Desk, bringing first-class hospitality and a customer-centric approach to work each day. Candidates must be able to work independently with little or no on-site supervision, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should have strong mentorship qualities to guide and educate team members and office staff. This role is multi-faceted, dynamic, and engaging; an upbeat, positive attitude is necessary.

1. Lead efforts to elevate the holistic workplace experience by demonstrating a strong hospitality focus across a wide array of services such as: employee and guest arrival experience, office communications, food and beverage, facilities, health and safety, engagement, and space planning.
2. Plan and execute a variety of events to promote team cohesion and positive workplace culture, such as monthly in-office events/workshops and two large company outings.
3. Maintain and influence effective relationships with senior business leaders and teams across functional areas throughout the organization that effectively balance the needs of the workplace team, the office, and the business.
4. Lead communication efforts for our team, communicate difficult concepts across various platforms with professionalism, creativity, and clarity in a way that effectively influences others.
5. Partner with members of the Real Estate and Workplace Services team and other departments to help ensure successful completion of special office projects.
6. Actively assess the pulse of the office by engaging with employees at all levels of the organization and sharing insights with the workplace leadership team to achieve successful organizational outcomes.
7. Use independent judgment, proactively and efficiently manage end-to-end workplace operations, create and implement scalable processes and procedures, manage budgets, and oversee delivery of programs and services that positively impact the workplace culture and employee productivity.
8. Coach and mentor other members of the team and provide guidance on complex issues facing the workplace organization.
9. Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic vendor relationships and address service concerns through timely feedback and performance reviews.
10. Delegate and prioritize effectively while balancing competing priorities.
11. Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment to implement important actions.
12. Understand the importance of local government nuances and rules & regulations.
13. Partner with Leadership, key stakeholders, and building management to communicate information to employees and visitors in a timely manner to ensure a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
14. Work closely with other managers and senior leaders to coordinate across departments and build The Trade Desk's organizational capabilities.
15. Maintain broad understanding of the processes, procedures, and systems used to accomplish the team's work and familiarity with the underlying concepts in other disciplines within the function.
16. Remotely support co-working spaces when needed, inclusive of initiating processes and policies relevant to those locations.

1. Bachelor's degree a plus.
2. Strong understanding of business and cultural norms.
3. 5-7+ years of related work experience and experience within the advertising or tech sector is a plus.
4. Self-starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, solution-focused, high EQ, professional, collaborative, reliable, and genuinely interested in providing excellent overall service.
5. Passion - your work matters, and you deliver it with a warm, welcoming, positive attitude with attention to detail.
6. Grit - sometimes solutions take creative thinking and multiple iterations. You are resilient in finding solutions.
7. Excellent Decision Quality - Know when to escalate and when to decide. Understand how decisions can impact teams, offices, and global objectives.
8. Strong team player with experience working with all levels of leadership.
9. Experience managing team members and external vendors.
10. A creative mind with the ability to suggest innovative ideas and improvements.
11. Strong business acumen and knowledge of business insights.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both large and small groups.
13. Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
14. Able to respond after hours for emergencies and able to work outside of designated hours as needed.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours through the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At The Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $69,900—$128,200 USD.
