We wish to appoint a Senior Scheduler for our leading client based in Dublin. The experienced scheduler must possess experience as scheduler in a large capital project delivery environment with an understanding of building and managing schedules against baselines to effectively communicate the schedule to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  2. Reporting on schedule progress including critical path, trend analysis and highlighting impacts from any interface areas.
  3. Contribute to developing planning processes and procedures to support the programme leadership.
  4. Support in schedule baselining/re-baselining activities.
  5. Support in Quantitative Schedule Risk Assessment (QSRA) Processes.
  6. Establishing project objectives in line with the client and ensure goals & timelines are achieved.
  7. Execution of projects via an established Quality and Management system.
  8. Responsible for development and management of project schedules and project controls tools.
  9. Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on same.
  10. Lead / Host Interactive Planning Workshops.
  11. Critical Path development & analysis.
  12. Being proficient in MS Project and Primavera Scheduling tools.
  13. Liaise with project management team with regular schedule performance status reports.
  14. Establish project schedule resource requirements.
  15. Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals.
  16. Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.
Qualifications

Experience & Skills:

  1. 8+ years' experience in Scheduling.
  2. Experience with Quantitative Schedule Risk Assessment (QSRA).
  3. You will have a third level degree in a relevant discipline, Engineering or Construction.
  4. Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
  5. Good communication & people skills.
  6. Good time management skills.
  7. Self-starter and decision maker.
