Inflight Payments Specialist

Ryanair is currently recruiting for an Inflight Payments Specialist to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

As part of Ryanair's continued expansion to over 800 aircraft, we have a fantastic opportunity for a data driven individual to join the Inflight Payments Team, supporting the business as we continue through a period of sustained growth.

Based in our our Group Headquarters in Dublin, the successful candidate will work as a part of Inflight Finance Team reporting to the Inflight Payments Manager, with responsibility for managing cabin crew monthly payments. This is an exciting opportunity

Duties will include:

  • Ensure monthly Cabin crew sector pay is run on the 1st of each month
  • Running additional sector pay preparations in advance of the 1st of the month
  • Sector pay reconciliations legacy DAS system vs SAP, ensuring that both systems calculating correct payments, all heads receiving payments
  • Monitoring Ryanair SAP workflows to make sure all approved before payroll deadline
  • Run various monthly payroll reports as required
  • Working closely with Ryanair DAC finance team on crew payments analysis on base level vs monthly accounts/budget
  • Management of rate scheduled per base, ensuring new bases are added and rates updated as required in both legacy DAS system and SAP
  • Cross checking agency invoices vs figures provided by Finance team each month and the preparation of summary coversheets for each invoice to make sure figures tie to pay scales
  • Make sure Crew salary scales are up to date and circulated to relevant stakeholders
  • Responding to crew Zendesk queries on sector payments
  • Compiling additional reports i.e. headcount, contract split
  • Processing crew expenses
  • Work with IT on further development of IT systems to ensure smooth processing of sector payments
  • Periodically assess Inflight internal controls both strengths and weaknesses and complete AuditBoard filing monthly
  • Deal with Internal Audit queries and take on any ad hoc duties/projects

Requirements

Proven Administrative Skills

Excellent Communication Skills

Strong Windows Literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc)- advanced Excel required for this position

Ability to work on own initiative

Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly

Background in Payroll preferred
