ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is the largest division in ASSA ABLOY, offering automated entrance solutions. The product portfolio includes automatic, commercial & industrial high-speed doors, digital solutions, loading dock equipment and Megadoors.

Assa Abloy Entrance Systems Ireland Limited is based in Baldonnell Business Park and is responsible for the Sales, Installation & Service of Entrance Systems for the Irish Market. The company currently employees approx. 55 staff.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join our team in the industrial door business. The Service Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of services to our clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Role Summary: Service coordinator/planner responsibilities include:

  • Answering incoming calls and logging emergency callouts
  • Allocating emergency callouts to technicians.
  • Pricing follow up works called up by technicians.
  • Sending quotations to clients and following up on quotations for approval.
  • Preplanning and scheduling quoted works with technicians.
  • Working closely with other members of service team and stores.
  • Requirement to be on call at times for escalated calls from ASSA ABLOY on call first point of contact service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contact with service technicians daily and making sure works dockets are sent in on completion.
  • Liaise with finance department making sure all completed dockets are sent for invoicing.
  • Contact with suppliers for ordering material and making sure order confirmations are received.
  • Schedule engineers works in advance for designated geographical area.
  • Efficient route planning of the area's engineers using the available software to maximize efficiency and reduce travel time.
  • Administration regarding customer specific subjects.
  • Notify stores of products being taken for stock for specific jobs.

  • To work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both on telephone and writing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Good geographic knowledge of Ireland.
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player and able to work on own initiative
