Overview

Fisher Investments is experiencing significant growth in Europe and is expanding its trading team in Ireland. We are seeking talented and driven individuals with a background in analytics or operations to join us.

The Opportunity:

As a trader at Fisher Investments Ireland, you will be an integral part of the global trading desk, responsible for executing trades in diverse asset classes and client accounts. You will actively monitor market movements and utilize your trading expertise to optimize client account executions. In addition, you will have the chance to contribute to team development initiatives and process enhancements. Our team is evolving to handle increased order volume, offering you a role in shaping its future. Reporting directly to the trading manager in Luxembourg.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Execute trades across global markets, tailoring strategies to market conditions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with custodian and broker partners
  • Support initiatives for desk expansion and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with various teams such as Portfolio Operations and Compliance
  • Participate in our mentoring program for advanced finance education

Your Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in trading or investment operations
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and markets
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Proficiency in other European languages is a plus
  • Startup mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • High autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to deliver quality work efficiently
  • Experience with European clients or custodians, and familiarity with trading platforms
