About the role

As the Head of International Sales at Anthropic, you will own the go to market strategy and execution for our AI products, including Claude, in key international markets. You will build and lead a high-performing sales organization from the ground up to drive the adoption of safe and transformative AI solutions across enterprise customers. This is an opportunity to shape how frontier AI technology is rolled out and localized for EMEA and APAC.

You will develop strong partnerships with existing partners like AWS, collaborate closely with Product on localizing for market needs, and work cross-functionally to align with HQ on global strategy. You'll build out our foundational team of sellers and leaders across Dublin and London.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading revenue growth in EMEA and APAC markets for cutting-edge technologies. This role provides a unique opportunity to help shape the global expansion of Anthropic's mission to ensure advanced AI systems are built reliably and beneficially. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the EMEA/APAC go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth
  • Build the sales organization in region, providing leadership and development
  • Strengthen partnerships with key partners to accelerate adoption
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and CS to localize offerings
  • Analyze market trends and dynamics to continually refine GTM
  • Oversee sales team, providing guidance on deal strategy and stakeholder management
  • Communicate EMEA/APAC priorities and resourcing needs to HQ leadership
  • Foster cross-functional and cross-border collaboration with global teams
You may be a good fit if you have:
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in EMEA/APAC markets
  • Track record of building high-performing teams and consistently exceeding targets
  • Deep expertise in enterprise software/SaaS, ideally with exposure to AI/ML
  • Experience managing global, matrixed teams across borders and time zones
  • Strategic mindset combined with ability to rapidly operationalize insights
  • Adept at navigating complex organizations to drive alignment and results
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for bringing transformative technologies to market in an ethical, responsible way

The expected salary range for this position is:

Annual Salary: €440.000—€ EUR Logistics

Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.

US visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate; operations roles are especially difficult to support. Compensation and Benefits*

Anthropic's compensation package consists of three elements: salary, equity, and benefits. We are committed to pay fairness and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market rates.

Equity - On top of this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higher-than-average equity compensation for a company of our size, and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.

The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including where you place on our internal performance ladders, which is based on factors including past work experience, relevant education, and performance on our interviews or in a work trial.
