Job Description
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor the health and performance of production systems using various tools and dashboards. Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to prevent issues before they occur.
  • Incident Management: Detect and identify issues or system failures quickly. Diagnose the root cause of incidents and provide timely resolution. Log all incidents and track them through resolution, ensuring all relevant details are documented.
  • Problem Management: Conduct thorough analysis of recurring issues to identify the root cause. Develop and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of problems with the help of the team.
  • Change Management: Assess the impact of proposed changes on production systems. Coordinate and execute changes in a controlled manner to minimize disruptions. Develop rollback plans in case changes do not produce the desired results.
  • User Support and Communication: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users facing issues with production systems. Keep stakeholders informed about the status of issues, changes, and system health.
  • System Performance Tuning: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with development, QA, and other IT teams to ensure seamless operation of production systems. Coordinate with third-party vendors for support and maintenance of third-party systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of support procedures, system configurations, and incident resolutions. Develop a knowledge base to help in quick resolution of common issues.
Qualifications
  • Good knowledge in azure devops: Creating, organizing and progressing work items: bugs, issues, change requests, epics, features, user stories etc.
  • Good communication skills. Ability to coordinate with the business analyst and business team to create change requests, features etc by providing them with viable solutions to problems.
  • Ability to coordinate with several teams in the project to troubleshoot and find solutions to production issues.
  • Understanding of system architecture and infrastructure.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise applications and software stacks: Alfresco, SharePoint.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Ability to set up alerts and analyze system performance data.
  • Proficiency in powershell scripting.
  • Awareness of security best practices and the ability to implement security measures.
