The Role / Location

Great opportunity to join the top Private Rented Sector Lettings & Management Team in Ireland and establish yourself in a sector of the Property Industry that offers stability and years of growth.

You would be part of a Block Management Team within the PRS Lettings & Management Team, overseeing Common Areas services in a diverse range of developments throughout Dublin owned by major Commercial Landlords and Investment Funds.

As a role that involves interaction with clients, strong relationship management and people skills are crucial. Building and nurturing positive relationships with various stakeholders such as Property Managers, Colleagues, Clients, Contractors & Residents is vital.

The managed portfolio mainly consists of high-end new constructions completed within the past 2 - 3 years, featuring a range of Amenities like gyms, cinema rooms, games rooms, tenant lounges, roof terraces, bookable spaces, and on-site staff. This has introduced a hospitality aspect to the management of PRS sites, which the candidate should comprehend.

The candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding professionalism, financial control, and adherence to health & safety regulations. This role is ideal for individuals who can work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating with agents to ensure that the sites are maintained to standard with a positive and solution-oriented approach.

Skills in budget management, financial understanding, planned maintenance, and project management are necessary for the role. Additionally, administrative tasks, tendering services, contract negotiations, security, health & safety compliance, energy management, ESG initiatives, and landscape management are part of the responsibilities.

You will receive support from the PRS Common Area Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and take ownership of projects.
  • Understand individual clients and mandates to oversee operations in designated developments.
  • Maintain developments at the required standards set by Savills and the Client.
  • Handle all contractor-related documentation and delivery processes.
  • Represent Savills at Client Meetings.
  • Conduct site inspections of managed developments.
  • Manage budget operations effectively.
  • Implement Health and Safety actions in a timely manner.
  • Propose cost-saving ideas and enhance site sustainability.
  • Provide regular reporting supported by the central management team and client.
  • Assist with Helpdesk Support when needed outside regular hours.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Hold a Property Management Licence.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Property Management.
  • OMC experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in implementing site systems and services strategically.
  • Ensure efficient deployment of site maintenance and utility operations.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on finding solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors for quality and compliance.
  • Solid financial acumen to manage costs and budgets.
  • Thorough understanding and management of Health & Safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate continuous personal development in the industry.
  • Proficiency in IT skills and systems software.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong self-management, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
