Join a prestigious law firm in Dublin 2 on a 12-month fixed-term contract as an Events Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate to enhance the firm's brand and profile through high-impact client-focused events and sponsorship programmes.

You willplay a crucial role in a dynamic team, managinghybrid, in-person, and virtual events, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a 12 month FTC starting in June 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Management:Deliver the firm-wide events calendar, project managing hybrid, in-person, and virtual events to the highest standards.
  • Communication:Support event communications including writing, editing, reviewing, and issuing communications.
  • Project Updates:Provide regular updates to your manager on the status of each event/project.
  • Collaboration:Work with internal and external suppliers to create, design, and deliver bespoke event collateral and thought leadership pieces.
  • Budget Management:Deliver events within budget and on deadline.
  • Marketing:Develop and execute a full suite of event marketing activities including PR, digital, design, email marketing, and advertising.
  • Client Initiatives:Collaborate closely with Practice Area Marketing and Business Development teams to support client initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement:Demonstrate a commitment to becoming an expert in events marketing by continuously evolving and improving processes.
  • Creative Solutions:Deliver pragmatic and creative solutions that add real value through timely and fit-for-purpose solutions.

  • Educational Background:Marketing/events graduate with event management/sponsorship experience, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Event Management:Proven track record of running successful B2B corporate events with excellent project management skills.
  • Client Focus:Highly credible, strong client focus, able to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Virtual Events:Strong knowledge and experience of virtual event platforms.
  • Organisational Skills:Excellent organisational, time management, and reporting skills combined with a creative approach.
  • Communication:Effective communicator with a high level of accuracy, able to mentor and develop team members.
  • Campaign Execution:Proven success in designing and executing communication campaigns, extensive writing and editing experience.
  • Social Media:Experienced in using social media and online platforms to promote events and improve the registration process.
